RISE Projects’ yearly cultural extravaganza brings you the best in Somali culture, music, poetry and dance from renowned Somali artists and performers.

We are delighted to invite to you to the inaugural Somali culture event, an opportunity to celebrate the diverse tapestry and rich history of the Somali people. During the event, we will have live music, cultural dance as well as providing time for poetry and spoken word performance.

In the first part of the event, we will have a cultural exhibition showcasing Somali artefacts and objects, exploring their significance and importance. This is particularly important for children to learn about Somali cultural heritage. We will also have storytelling and interactive activities for young people.

The latter part of the event will bring together live musical performances, poetry recitals and cultural dances as well as a fashion show showcasing Somali attire. The event will close with electric performances from our special guests.

Join us for live performances including music, spoken word and poetry, cultural dance and an art exhibition, with Somali food and refreshments provided.
