Ancestral African dance & drumming to have you shaking, twisting, shimmying and bending!

OLCA brings you an empowering wellness experience of African dance and drumming and will help promote diversity, community cohesion and development in the Borough of Haringey.

These workshops, from 12pm for 4 – 15 year olds and from 2pm for 16 years+, are a great way to get fit, meet new friends and gain knowledge about African ancestry through movement. Similarly, these workshops aim to inspire correct body posture, improved blood circulation, the elimination of toxins, reduce isolation and shape a new confident you.

As dance is a dramatic art, this is as an opportunity to build confidence. Equipping young people with soft skills that can benefit them in their future careers such as teamwork, listening skills and adaptability is a core objective which serves an educational purpose.
