Welcome to the Autumn Season

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Bernie Grant Arts Centre

September 2017 marks the 10th anniversary of the opening of Bernie Grant Arts Centre, right here in the heart of Tottenham Green. To celebrate this landmark birthday, our Autumn 2017 Season brings you some of the best work produced by culturally diverse artists in the UK, featuring both familiar faces and, in keeping with our mission to support emerging artists, extraordinary new talent.

SuAndi first performed here in our opening season and returns with The Story of M, a powerful piece about identity and belonging. We’re welcoming back Vicki Igbokwe, whose company Uchenna Dance began its journey in our creative workspace before becoming a tour de force in the dance world. And we are delighted to introduce incredible new talent, like Urielle Klein-Mekongo, whose unmissable Yvette comes to us fresh from sell-out performances at the Edinburgh Fringe.

For our younger audiences, we’re delighted to bring you Upswing’s Bedtime Stories  and Little Angel’s Handa’s Surprise, two magical pieces sure to set young imagination alight. We have cinema, live music and stand-up comedy compered by the inimitable Thanyia Moor for a great night out!

Finally, take a look at our workshops programme and unlock your own creative muscle or flex your funny bone. Or simply pop in and enjoy the colourful ambience in our newly refurbished Café and Bar, serving craft beers and some of the finest home cooked, freshly made Caribbean food in London.
