Welcome back to the Bernie Grant Arts Centre

We are delighted to throw open our doors again and welcome audiences back to the Bernie Grant Arts Centre.

“It’s been a real privilege to support Black artists and focus on work directly connecting with the community during the pandemic. And now, as we celebrate, reconnect and reflect with our annual Windrush Festival, we can’t wait to fill our theatre, studios and outdoor square with work by the very best Black writers, performers, musicians and theatre makers from Tottenham, and beyond”.

  • Azieb-Hannah Pool, Artistic Director/CEO Bernie Grant Arts Centre

We invite you, our community, to join us back in our space as we emerge with renewed energy, a new programme and new artists and works for you to discover. We can’t wait for you to see what we’ve got in store.

Our sensational new programme of arts and cultural events will make you think, feel, laugh, dance and come together. Rooted in and reflective of our vibrant community, we’ll be platforming and celebrating Black artists, all kicking off with a multi-arts festival to mark Windrush Day.

All events will be following Covid safety protocols, the majority of the festival takes place  outside in our courtyard. For full details on our Covid safety measures and policies, click here.

“Welcome back to the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. At last we are able to safely open the doors to our amazing venue to you once again. Though the important work of being the platform for the best of Black writers, performers and dramatists continued in the most fascinating ways over the last year, there’s nothing quite like home. So please come on in. Enjoy the space. Celebrate the amazing artistic experience that has been bursting at the seams to present itself to you. We’re bringing it all home. Expect the unexpected”.
