Postponed: Black Sound Film Festival

7-9 September

Featuring the sounds, stories and legacies of the greats of Black British music

It is with a heavy heart that we are making the announcement that the upcoming Black Sound Film Festival will be postponed until early 2019.

For the past few weeks we’ve been working tirelessly to make this festival a reality with a full programme of films, speakers, talks and debates to present an incredible celebration of Black British music on screen. We encountered scheduling difficulties which prevented our ambition to reach the widest possible audiences, therefore, we feel the programme would not be delivered with the original intention or be a true reflection of the quality of films.

As a result we have made a difficult decision to postpone the festival until early 2019. It is of utmost importance to us that we deliver something truly exceptional to celebrate Black British Music and Film to the highest standard.

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience and we look forward to bringing you the Black Sound Film Festival in 2019!
