Café Renovation Featured in Dezeen

“Morag Mysercough creates colourful interiors for Adjaye-designed arts centre”
Dezeen.com, 4 July 2017

Over the summer, the Café and Bar in our main theatre building underwent an exciting renovation led by British designer Morag Myerscough, making it more comfortable, colourful and welcoming for guests.

Myerscough, known for her previous work at the London Design Museum, the Tate Modern, and the Barbican, worked with artists Yemi Awosile and Luke Morgan to create brightly coloured furniture, ceramics and decor, replete with hanging plants and a luxurious Iroko hardwood bar from the West Coast of Africa.

This is the first step of an anticipated renovation of the main theatre building, designed by Sir David Adjaye and opened a decade ago in 2007.

News of this exciting renovation was also reported by sites including DesignWeek and DesignBoom.
