Marketing Officer

We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Marketing Officer to join the Bernie Grant Arts Centre team, responsible for helping to promote the Bernie Grant Arts Centre and its programme of performances, events, creative learning activities, business activities and services.

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Officer will help identify target markets and develop, design and deliver compelling marketing and promotional campaigns.  They will attract new visitors and develop the organisation’s audience base and maximise income generation opportunities.

The Bernie Grant Arts Centre aims to be both the UK’s leading space for the development of artists from culturally diverse communities, and a local hub for the arts in Tottenham. We are an equal opportunities employer and are looking for applicants from all backgrounds to come and join our team.

(Weekly fixed term, week commencing 28th May until 15th July)

Various Contracts are available:

  • Full Time, 40 hours a week for a 7 week period
  • Part Time, 20 hours a week for a 7 week period
  • Casual: sessional based contract, various hours.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and reliable people to join our friendly Front of House team at the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. As an usher you will work to provide an excellent audience experience for all visitors, welcoming people to the Centre and ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

This summer the Bernie Grant Arts Centre will be host to Punchdrunk’s Small Wonders performances and we are looking for staff for this period to guide our visitors on their immersive journey into Theatre. This will be working a minimum of five days a week, with an average of 8 hours a day with some days having six 60 minute shows a day increasing the potential working hours.

There is also an opportunity to stay on as sessional staff after this period of working for those who enquire.
