Ticketing Terms and Conditions

These Terms explain how you can purchase Tickets from the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing Tickets from us. When purchasing any Tickets you agree to accept and be bound by these Terms and if you do not agree to them you should not purchase Tickets. By clicking the accept button you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Definitions

“Box Office” means the box office at the Centre where the Event you purchase a Ticket for is to take place.

“Event” means the show on the set day and time for which you purchase a Ticket.

“Site” means this website www.berniegrantcentre.co.uk.

“Terms” means these Ticketing Terms and Conditions.

“Tickets” means a ticket or tickets you purchase from us for an Event in one of our Event Spaces.

“Event Space” means an Event Space owned and operated by us.

“we/us/our” means Bernie Grant Centre Partnership which is a company incorporated in England and Wales with registered charity number, 1102263 and whose registered office is at the Bernie Grant Centre, Town Hall Approach Road, Tottenham, London, N15 4RX.

“you/your” means you the purchaser of a Ticket.

Contract

1.1 – Your contract for purchase of Tickets starts as soon as we have confirmed your purchase order by confirmation email and ends immediately after the Event ends. All Ticket purchases are subject to payment card verification and other security checks and your transaction may be cancelled if it has not passed our verification process.

1.2 – We reserve the right not to accept any order, or to cancel any transaction or booking, which we reasonably suspect to have been made fraudulently.

1.3 – Any personal data which a) you share with us or our service providers when purchasing Tickets from us and b) we collect when you use our Site will be collected and used in accordance with our GDPR and Privacy Policy. Please read our GDRP & Privacy Policy as it will help you understand how we may collect and use your personal data, and the choices you can make about how your personal data is used.

Tickets

2.1 – All Tickets are sold subject to availability and as set out expressly in these Terms.

2.2 – Where a concession is claimed, proof of identity and concession entitlement will be required when collecting your Tickets. You are entitled to a concession ticket if the following applies; Senior Citizens (65 and over), Student (with valid in date ID), Children (up to 17 years – ID may be required), Registered Unemployed (proof of benefits), Blue Light Emergency Group, Carers attending with an Access Patron or Access Patrons themselves.

2.3 – Every member of the audience, excluding babes in arms, must be in the possession of a valid Ticket to gain entry to the Event Space.

2.4 – Tickets are sold subject to our right to make alterations to the advertised time, programme or cast.

2.5 – When purchasing Tickets from us there may be a restriction as to the maximum number you can purchase. Any such restriction will be notified to you at the time you place your order with us. We reserve the right to cancel Tickets purchased in excess of this number without prior notice unless the purchase of excess was due to our error.

2.6 – Tickets may be sold subject to certain restrictions on use or entry such as a restricted, obstructed or side view, or a minimum age. Any such known restrictions shall be displayed on our Site or otherwise notified to you before or at the time that you book a Ticket.

2.7 – You only have a right to a seat of the value corresponding to that stated on your Ticket. We reserve the right to provide alternative seats to those stated on your Ticket (whether before or during the Event).

2.8 – Please check your Tickets carefully upon receipt as it is your responsibility and mistakes cannot always be rectified after purchase. Contact us immediately if there is a mistake.

2.9 – If Tickets are resold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than a person authorised by the Event Space, then the Tickets will become void and the Ticket holder may be refused entry or ejected from the Event Space.

2.10 – Any child under the age of 3 can be considered a ‘Babes in Arms’ and will not require a ticket. They will not have an allocated seat and would be expected to sit on an accompanying adults lap unless a seat was purchased for them.

Price/Payment

3.1 – The price of the Ticket shall be the price set at the time we accept your order, except in the case of obvious error. If we discover the price of a Ticket is obviously wrong we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of confirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order.

3.2 – All prices set are inclusive of VAT but excludes booking fees (where applicable).

3.3 – We accept payment by the following credit/debit cards: Visa, Master Card, UK Maestro and Visa Electron. No order will be accepted until we receive full payment.

Delivery

4.1 – If you are collecting your Tickets from the Event Space’s Box Office, you must have your order acknowledgment email and the credit/debit card used to make payment.

4.2 – If you have opted the Print at Home tickets, you must print these tickets and bring them with you to the Event.

Cancellation/Refunds/Exchanges

5.1 – Tickets cannot be refunded. In the event of an Event being cancelled, where possible and subject to availability, you will be offered alternative Events up to the seat value on the ticket. If we are unable to offer you an alternative Event, a refund will be offered. A Ticket exchange is offered at the discretion of the organisation and may not always be possible.

5.2 – If there is a material change to the Event, you may exchange your Ticket for an alternative Event (subject to availability) up to the value of the Ticket you purchased or receive a refund of your Ticket price.

5.3 – A ‘material change’ is a change which in our reasonable opinion makes the Event materially different to the Event that purchasers of the Ticket, taken generally, could reasonably expect. The use of understudies shall not be a material change.

5.4 – It is your responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled or re-scheduled. We will use reasonable endeavours to notify you using the details you provided to us at the time of ordering. We do not guarantee that you will be informed of such a cancellation before the date of the Event.

5.5 – Where such a refund is sought you must bring it to our attention as soon as possible of becoming aware of such change, cancellation or reschedule, prior to the rescheduled Event.

5.6 – Refunds shall only be made to the person who purchased the Tickets using the same means of payment.

Resale of Tickets

6.1 – Tickets may be returned to the Event Space’s Box Office for resale up to 24 hours before the Event. We only place returns (tickets we’ve agreed to refund for resale) on sale after all other Tickets for that Event have been sold out. This at the discretion of the Box Office & Front of House Manager.

Liability

7.1 – Liability for the cancellation or rescheduling of the Event, or for material changes to an Event, will be limited to the price paid by you to us for the Ticket including any booking fee. Personal arrangements including travel, accommodation or hospitality relating to the Event which have been arranged by you are entirely at your own risk.

7.2 – We do not accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of any personal property.

7.3 – Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or other type of liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Admission and Attendance

8.1 – We reserve the right to refuse admission to Ticket holders in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, licensing reasons or where a Ticket is void.

8.2 – We reserve the right to refuse admission to and to remove audience members displaying aggressive behaviour and to remove Ticket holders behaving in a violent or unreasonable manner.

8.3 – Security searches may be conducted to ensure the safety of all audience members and your cooperation in conducting these is appreciated.

8.2 – Latecomers may be admitted into the Event Space when a suitable break in the Event occurs but admission cannot always be guaranteed as latecomers is set by the Production Company and is at their discretion.

8.3 – By attending an Event, Ticket holders consent to the filming and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience, we will make sure there is signage which displays this if we choose to do so.

8.4 – Ticket holders must comply with all relevant statutes, safety regulations and Event Space announcements whilst attending the Event.

8.5 – Ticket holders may only leave and re-enter the Event Space at the discretion of the Duty Manager, otherwise there will be no re-admissions of any kind.

Restrictions

9.1 – The use of equipment for recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data inside any Event Space is strictly forbidden. Unauthorised photographs, videos, recordings, or similar items may be destroyed or deleted. Any recording made of an Event in breach of these conditions shall belong to the producer of the Event.

9.2 – Mobile phones, tablets, messaging equipment, laser pens or any other electronic equipment should be disabled when Ticket holders are inside the Event Space.

9.3 – Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is prohibited in the Event Space.

9.4 – Audience members are not permitted to bring into or consume their own food and drink in the Event Space.

9.5 – All drinks purchased in-house should be in a plastic container as glass is strictly prohibited.

Queries/Complaints

10.1 – If you have any comments or complaints regarding your purchase from us, contact us via email: boxoffice@berniegrantcentre.co.uk.

10.2 – If you have any comments or complaints during the Event, including the ability to view or hear the Event, you should speak to the Duty Manager before or during the Event or email feedback@berniegrantcentre.co.uk.

General

11.1 – No one other than a person who is a party to these Terms has any rights to enforce these Terms.

11.2 – If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced for any reason, the other provisions will continue to apply.

11.3 – If we delay or fail to enforce any of these Terms it does not mean that we have waived our right to do so.

11.4 – We will try to resolve any disputes quickly and efficiently. If you are unhappy with the way we deal with any dispute and you want to take court proceedings, the relevant courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to the Terms. Relevant English law will apply to these Terms.

11.5 – We may change these Terms from time to time by amending this page. By continuing to use this Site you accept the current version of the Terms at the time of your use.

11.6 – Any child who is attending a performance should always be accompanied by an adult at all times.
