Passover: The Exodus Which Was To Happen

20 April

A lecture about the Exodus and Feast of Passover and will be followed by a Q&A

Passover was when the Biblical Hebrews were freed from slavery in Egypt. This event is still celebrated annually by some of the Hebrews who migrated to West Africa, specifically the Ga Dangme people of South Eastern Ghana, during their annual Homowo festival. What really was this biblical event about? Was it just about freeing slaves, or there is something more to it? Join Rabbi Akwetey Amaah, a GaDangme, as he examines this biblical and historical narrative, leaving you with a different Exodus story.

This is a FREE lecture and Q&A event. Books will be available to purchase on the day and a signing will take place following the lecture and Q&A.
