Exhibition: A Real Job Is to Make Something
23 March-7 May
Photographs, text and sound from an art project in a recently closed Tottenham factory
Forty years of manufacturing duvets, sleeping bags and country clothing are over. As the Wearite factory on West Green Road closes, A Real Job Is to Make Something highlights a place and community of work, and considers the value of making things in present times. Documentation in the downstairs front of house area from 23 March to 7 May shares an exhibition of artworks at the Wearite factory earlier in the year.
An AIR project supported by Arts Council England, Haringey Council and Cyprus High Commission.
