Join writer, director and facilitator Tian Glasgow in a free workshop to explore the importance of activism through words and discourse in recent Black British history.

In this 2 hour workshop we’ll be looking at examples from Race Today magazine, Bernie Grant archives and also the Penguin IC3 Anthology. What writing styles have been used historically to speak truth to power?

Which ones do you think have been most effective or lasted the test of time?

This workshop is OPEN TO ALL and will introduce you to the wealth of inspiring writing there is out there and also see how things have evolved with modern methods of communication.
