Our Spaces

Our main Performance Building boasts a 300+ seat / 500 standing theatre and music venue, other performance and rehearsal spaces, exhibition space, and our café and licensed bar.

We have also recently created a new multi-purpose space for dance and other activities. It is also our new 36 seat cinema lounge. All of our spaces are available for hire.

Eating & Refreshments

Blooming Scent Café is an excellent location run by award winning businesswoman Gina Moffat. It is the perfect place for private parties, social events, meetings and receptions.

Delicious food, fresh drinks and outstanding service. The dining destination at the heart of the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. We’ve also got a selection of organic teas, soft drinks and different wines at our fully licensed bar.

Film & Cinema

Bernie Grant Arts Centre has created a new multi-purpose space on the ground floor of the Hub Building. Configured as a cinema, its capacity is 36 in comfortable armchair style seating. The categories of films that will be screened on a regular basis are films of black origins, independent cinema, world cinema, and favourites, classics, and other categories/genres.
