17 June 2017 - 7.30pm
Riggs, a depressed and struggling screenwriter in Albuquerque, New Mexico, begrudgingly goes on a drug run with his dealer friend, Many Goats. But things go terribly wrong and a series of misadventures follow: bar fights, house parties, feuding couples, even a psychedelic ride. However, none of these calamities can distract a dejected Riggs from his ex-girlfriend. In this darkly entertaining, Blackhorse Lowe evokes the rhythm of Slacker, the rich and sharp dialogue of Tarantino and the retro sensibility of Jim Jarmusch to create a unique cinematic experience.
